On Thursday evening December 10th, the public was invited to a gala event marking the premier of “Simply Southern: With A Dash of Kosher Soul,” the much anticipated cookbook featuring the recipes and profiles of the South’s finest kosher cooks.
Thursday evening’s event marked the first time that hard copies of the book were available to the public for purchase.
Hundreds of people came taste many of the cookbook’s delectable dishes prepared perfectly by master chefs. For the last-minute Chanukah shopper, beautiful gift baskets designed by Dinstuhl’s and featuring a copy of “Simply Southern” were available for purchase as well.
